Right now there is only one SMS sound. It would be great if there could be more choices, or any way to actually change the sound to something different, such as being able to mount the filesystem on the phone (something Android lets you do, right now we can mount the media card but not the phone itself).

If I could see files and copy/move them, I could put more ringtones in the appropriate directories. Even if it was a multi-step process, like "copy file to the SD card, then use some app on the phone to move the files around to the right directory on the phone", that'd be fine. I can't find any app that lets me see files on the phone itself (much less move/copy files).

Right now I'm using the Unagi phone as my primary phone during waking hours, but I have to move my SIM card back to my iPhone during evening hours so if an SMS page comes in, I don't sleep through it. If I could put a custom ringtone on the phone for SMS, I could use it 24x7 as my primary phone.

2.0? to be discussed for a future version.

For SMS we always use the sound for a notification (we actually use notifications and we have no way to distinguish between notifications yet). But we can change this sound. This is available in "Settings > Sound > Alerts".
