Looking good.  From what I can tell, the stuff in your home directory can be re-created if necessary?  If not, is it something we should have in /data and replicated?

I worry because my plans for upgrading puppet involve decommissioning releng-puppet1.srv.releng.scl3, on the assumption it has no unique data on it.
Yeah, I can put everything under /data, nothing secret there.
I moved the files to /data and updated the docs accordingly.
