Steps to reproduce:
1 Go into settings-Display;
2.try to set a new wallpaper in Gallery;
3.select a dynamic image in gallery;

Actual results:
we select the images in attachment, but can not set successful.
In the interface of crop, we tap done but have no respond. 

Expected results:
Set the dynamic wallpaper successfully;

Triage: if trying to set wallpaper of attached gif files from gallery, can set successfully as the phone won't ask you to crop images. 
if trying to set wallpaper from settings, phone will ask you to crop image, then crop function has no response with .gif

We don't support gif in gallery.
The way I tried is to modified the attached name to jpg.
I don't think we need fix it.

adding more people into CC for further comment but i don't believe it is expected to set .gif as live wallpaper. it's a nice feature that just happen to work

It is trivial to add GIF support to gallery if we need it.  We will never be able to crop an animated GIF or PNG image and retain the animation. But if it was a partner requirement, we could possibly modify the gallery so that cropping was not required when selecting wallpaper. I think we might only be able to make it work if the gallery image was exactly the desired wallpaper size, however.

I don't think we want to encourage that, however. An animated background will probably reduce performance and increase power consumption.
