Closing a browser window on Linux takes ~1s, as much as opening a window.

This is expecially bad when 30+ windows are open and I do File|Quit. Each window
comes to the top and then closes (1s).

This is *much* faster on Windows.

This bug is similar to bug 49141.
Subject of this bug is not only to hold blocking bug, but also to identify them,
i.e. to investigate where the time is wasted.
