User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Build ID: 20130109165101 Steps to reproduce: Details: Using Redhat's corporate email system, Zimbra (via calDAV). 1. Use a client outside of thunderbird to send an invite to myself (NOT lightning). For this example, i used the Redhat corporate Zimbra web interface. Be sure to set a reminder on this invite, i used 5 minutes 2. Now goto your Thunderbird client and Accept the invite. When it asks to send the invite confirmation, be sure to *not* check 'Support Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002/XP'. 3. Now look on your lightning calendar, the invite is saved as expected, however, the reminder is stripped from the event. 4. Now do steps 1 and 2 again, this time be sure to check the 'Support Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002/XP' box when you accept the meeting. The event is added to the calendar and the reminder of 5 minutes is retained. Obviously, this behavior is less than ideal. # rpm -qa |grep thunder thunderbird-17.0.2-1.fc18.x86_64 thunderbird-lightning-1.9-1.fc18.x86_64 Actual results: Invite was stripped when saving without the 'Support Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002/XP' box checked. Expected results: The reminder should have be retains, regardless.

Regarding my previous statement. I've had two instances that occurred today where i did indeed check the 'Support Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002/XP' box and the reminders STILL got stripped from the event. Looks like this is a broader bug than anticipated.

I just confirmed, it doesnt matter if i check the aforementioned box or not. This issue is sporadic. I believe if the invite originates from the Zimbra web client the reminder gets stripped when the event is written to the calendar (via caldav).
