Instead of focusing before the picture is taken, it seems like this camera focuses after the picture is taken. Therefore you never know if the picture is in focus and many of my pics have turned out blurry. On the unagi it seems that there is focus lock, circle turns green and then you take the photo. I noticed that the BeetleLite phone has the same issue.

I face a very similar issue when taking pictures using the default camera app in Keon. When I press the camera button, after about 1 second delay the picture will be taken but I dont see any indication of focus when I hit the capture button. This makes it very hard to ensure proper focus on subject especially when taking closeup pictures.

From what I can see in the logcat, Inari only supports one focus mode: 'infinity', so the behaviour is correct. (The focus-after-the-fact effect is the postview being a different size from the viewfinder frames. daleharvey is working on this.)

dale, do we intend to show a focus ring (even one that just stays black) even on devices with fixed-focus cameras?
