User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Build ID: 20130201065344 Steps to reproduce: 1.) Opened up Firefox 18.0.2 with my ASUS K50I. 2.) Typed "grooveshark.com" into the address bar. 3.) Added a song to the queue. 4.) Decreased the volume using the shortcut "fn + f11". Actual results: The letter 'h' was typed into the search box (even though my cursor was nowhere near the search box). Expected results: The use of that shortcut should only decrease my volume, not insert the letter 'h' into the search box.

Mike thanks for reporting this! Could you still reproduce this with the newer Firefox versions?

(In reply to Tiziana Sellitto [:tiziana] from comment #1) > Mike thanks for reporting this! > Could you still reproduce this with the newer Firefox versions? Hello Tiziana, When I last filed this bug, I was using the default shortcuts for changing my audio. So many weeks after my shortcut buttons stopped working and I installed a different hotkey program. I have since been unsuccessful with getting my default shortcuts to install and function properly. I'll see if I can locate another ASUS laptop of the same model to attempt to reproduce this problem on new versions of Firefox.

As for comment 2 I'll close this. Please reopen it if you can reproduce this on another computer or you have more info about this. Thanks again for reporting!
