Details

The JavaScript Downloads API should provide a way to plug new DownloadSaver
types in the download process. Savers should be able to control the download
process and report errors through DownloadError objects.

Closing this bug because it's likely that new DownloadSaver types would be implemented directly in the DownloadCore module, and the Downloads API is not used directly by add-ons anymore.
