User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/25.0.1364.68 Safari/537.22 Steps to reproduce: I'm running the Firefox Aurora update channel for Android, and every day I install the update. I prefer to have "Google Voice Typing" disabled in my Language & Input settings for my Android phone. Actual results: After the update, Google Voice Typing is re-enabled for my phone (on default Android US English keyboard, the microphone button is just left of the space bar). Expected results: Google Voice Typing should remain disabled.

Very much in particular to how Android forgets default browser on update; I suspect this is an Android bug out of our control

Steps to reproduce i) Disable "Google Voice Typing" ii) Reinstall Nightly iii) Check that "Google Voice Typing" is enabled Jim, is this us doing something or an Android bug?

Pretty sure it's an Android bug. You can work around it by going to settings for the default Android keyboard, and set "Voice input key" to "Off".
