linux adressbook disappear on cifs drive after import or many new contacts

Steps to reproduce:

I import a list of contacts with a ldif with adressbook import util.
After i change the the adressbooks i can see the contacts of imported adressbook.
I close and restart thunderbird.

The profile of this account lay on an cifs drive.
At the profile folder are all impab*.mab files and the prefs.js hold all adressbook entries.



Actual results:

After i restart thunderbird the adressbook disappear.




Expected results:

I open thunderbird -> adressbook and can open all adressbook with contacts

With the same profile on local folder, i can import and use adressbook after restart of thunderbird.

Also, are the *files* still there in the profile directory (on CIFS)
and that it is thunderbird which could not read the file any more?

Was the CIFS share near full status (I mean it may run out of space anytime while you were doing the task?)

It sure sounds like one of those low-level I/O error not handled properly, but
addressbook may have its own logically incorrect handling, etc.
