What I see is, not only wrapper but also all app closing transition is very slow recently.

Tim said this may be a gecko performance regression,
but we have a 300ms timer to cancel the event callback before.

I am not sure why it's removed from gaia.

If I find that's a must-have change(really?), I will close this bug. Tracking.

Confirmed bug 831391's patch changes 300ms to 1000ms.
An old enough patch so I won't back it out, but rather suggest to fix wrapper itself(delay the removeClass('visible')) in bug 849441.
