This stack trace looks alot like the one for Bug 84057 

This may be fixed in tomorrow's build.

If this can be useful (regarding your comment about bug84057): in fact the
certificate of the server contains an accented character. Another server, with
only US ASCII character, doesn't crash milnews.

I believe this has been fixed, but since there is no URL to verify against I
can't say for sure.
