I use the WikiMedia MonoBook theme because it's much more compact than the custom Mozilla theme and thus usable on a laptop.

Since the recent upgrades, it's been showing https://wiki.mozilla.org/skins/common/images/wiki.png in the upper-left, instrucing me to set $wgLogo.

Can you set $wgLogo to point to something appropriate?
$wpLogo was pointing to an image file that didn't exist prior to the upgrade, which we noticed during the wiki upgrade a couple weeks ago. at this point we do not have a mozilla wiki image to use. do feel free to contribute one.

from the wiki setup pre-upgrade:

 $wgScriptPath = "";
 $wgStylePath  = "$wgScriptPath/skins-mozilla";
 $wgLogo       = "$wgStylePath/common/images/mozwiki.gif";

 [root@generic1.webapp.phx1 wiki_old]# ls -l skins-mozilla/common/images/mozwiki.gif
 ls: cannot access skins-mozilla/common/images/mozwiki.gif: No such file or directory

Reproducing that scenario would be fine. Alternately, the branding guidelines suggest that https://assets.mozillalabs.com/Brands-Logos/Mozilla/mozilla_wordmark.png (suitably resized) would be a good choice.

that's a decent suggestion, i have applied it to dev/stage and prod.
