857684 - Call waiting status not updated after changing SIM card

Steps: 
1. Enable Call Wating with SIM card #1
2. Check that CW is working fine
3. Change SIM card: SIM card #2 inserted, and switch the device on again
4. Check Call Waiting status

Expected result: 
5. Device should query to network for the status of Call Waiting Supplementary Service

Current result: 
5. Call Wating status is right the same as was configured before, no matter if was enabled or disabled, no query is launched to request Call Wating status

David, this bug is a duplicate of bug 857691. We are working on adding the support for bug 857691 in commercial RIL as well.

David, the support for this in commercial RIL is in progress so we shouldn't mark this bug resolved until the support is available in commercial RIL.

Antonio it would be good if we can mark the bug resolved only when it works with commercial RIL or else we might miss fixes in commercial RIL, which is the one we would really be shipping.

The code that solves this issue landed in Gaia v1.0.1 branch last week (the gecko part in mozilla-b2g18_v1_0_1 release repo too). AFAIK the support in commercial RIL is almost ready so I guess this bug could be resolved really soon.
