I'm going to need a whole lot more information to move this bug forward. I've been testing this daily and never hit the issue cited in this bug. Questions that need answering to start: 1. Account type? Google? Yahoo? Zimbra? Something else? 2. When you fail to login, what error are you getting? 3. Can you attach a logcat?

By looking at the screenshot, I'm wondering if you are hitting bug 823596 potentially, but that would mean that the password you are providing is incorrect. James - What do you think?

That or its possible yahoo.cn has its own calendar endpoint that is not used for other yahoo accounts? I will check it out.

yahoo.cn is not popular in v1.0.1 launch countries so koi? instead.

(In reply to Andrew Overholt [:overholt] from comment #8) > yahoo.cn is not popular in v1.0.1 launch countries so koi? instead. not only "yahoo.cn" but all other account can't login in.

Hmm... I will need some more details then. I use yahoo.com for my personal dog-fooding on an almost daily basis. Can you re-try with a specially created yahoo account you could theoretically share with us (over private mail/etc) ?

It was koi? 3 weeks ago, I do not see any further information for making it tef+, without that I think it should still be koi?

Please read the above discussion. Reproducibility in the locale for this bug does not justify blocking for tef. You need to reproduce this in a target locale for ship. Back to koi again.

Developer needs to figure this one out- we don't know about the technical problem here.

I think I'm going to mark this invalid until we have more information. After some more digging, I've found that - yahoo.cn is no longer supported. Now people are directed to cn.yahoo.com. - There is also only one caldav endpoint which is https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com. - Google doesn't do mail in china, so definitely no caldav support. - There is a "gmail.cn", but it runs on hotmail which does not use caldav. We do intend support the microsoft thing in the future. I think we're basically SOL here. Neither Google nor Yahoo intend for users to login to accounts at .cn endpoints.
