The click-to-play plugin UI from bug 549697 has a button for each plugin where you can choose how plugins are used. That button seems to be sized to the hidden option in the dropdown menu, which doesn't work so well if the current text label is longer than the alternative.
Yes, the "..." should be removed (or generalized), because it implies an offset for the position of the drop-down list, see http://i.imgur.com/BUcbMTI.png
