Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130409194949

Steps to reproduce:

In Thunderbird German version press Alt+X Alt+G.

Actual results:

tb waits in menu for further action, since there are two menu entries addressed by that combination.

Expected results:

Execute _the_ only menu entry activated by whatever key combination.
Problem: there are two menu entries activated by "G"!
This is a translation problem, in the english version Alt+T, Alt+U does what I want.
Component: Mail Window Front End → de / German
Product: Thunderbird → Mozilla Localizations
Version: 17 → unspecified
Hi, thanks for your report, I’m having trouble reproducing this, though. For me, the only menu item with the accesskey „G“ is „Gespeicherte Dateien“.

Could you please tell us the names of the two conflicting menu hotkeys’ items?
Sorry, didn't have access to my tb when I wrote the report.
It only happens when you first mark some mails and then press Alt+X Alt+G...
...the Text "Filter auf _Nachricht anwenden" changes to "Filter auf _gewählte Nachrichten anwenden" (I marked the hotkey with a preceeding underscore).

I guess "Filter auf gewählte _Nachrichten anwenden" would resolve the problem.
Danke für die Meldung, das Problem wird in Thunderbird 24 behoben sein. Für "Gespeicherte Dateien" muss man dann "D" drücken.
