Using 2001-06-19-05 mozilla build on Windows Me

1. Load http://www.kingston.com
2. Notice that text in the main frame is not wrapping, esp. paragraphs beginnig
with "Installing Kingston memory" and "Get the scoop on DDR"

There is also no horizontal scroll bar, so this text is not readable at all. The
contents wrap as expected using N4.7.
<table border="0" width="440" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0">
<tr><td colspan=3><img src="blank.gif" width="445" height="1" alt=""></td></tr>

This text is not going to wrap to a size smaller than the dimension of the table
cell.

This is correct behavoir as far as I can tell.

Works for me? (WinME & Win2K)

It wraps in IE 5.5 as well as in N4.7
Assigning to waterson. I saw this problem once on one of the bugs I'm about to
mark as duplicate of this one, but it's hard to reproduce.

Attached file testcase for 88832
I'm not sure that 88832 is a dup, I think the problem there is another <HR>
becomes enormous bug. However, layout is still pretty much PFM to me and I'll
leave things as they are.

I guess attachment 40919 [details] is showing bug 87543 indeed.
BTW, http://www.kingston.com seems fine to me (Win32 build 2001070206).
maybe i have made a related/duplicate entry, bug 88149. i have no problems on
the kingston page, but the testcase here seems to show a similar problem.
Just copying this URL over for convenience.

Notably, I tried wgetting the page to make a static test case file, and it
renders correctly. The original page, below, still fails as of 2001 July 03.

This is a far out idea, but could it be a timing problem?
Although 88832 is marked as a duplicate of this one (and it seems likie it might
be), I find that the Kingston link posted here works-for-me (WFM) on NT 4. Yet
the PraiseofGlory page does NOT.

I've looked at the source and don't see anything like an incredible table width
in it. Maybe I'm missing it ...

Is this still a bug? I can't see anything unusual on the mentioned URLs when i
compare between NC4.77 and Mozilla. Tested dups too. WFM.
build 2001091311 mac. in the testcase i dont see the hr at all, is this another
bug?

other than that, in the maybe-duplicate bug 88149 i uploaded a testcase that
still doesnt wrap the text.
All URLs WFM w. trunk build 2001-11-25-08 on Windows 98 SE.
