This is not for the trunk. For the Netscape RTM branch (after mozilla0.9.2 is
shipped and Netscape owns the branch), it is prudent to make the prefs dialog
resizable for this release - since we have been getting a number of bugs about
some dialogs in some languages on some platforms getting clipped. It is unlikely
that we are going to test exhaustively enough to know the "right size" to set
this dialog too in time for rtm.

The trunk shd remain non-resizable so as to encourage people to write content
that is designed to fit in the dialog.

just wondering: would this also affect the mozilla branch, or is this for the
commercial branch only? if the latter, this should prolly be moved to bugscape...

tested using the following commercial branch builds:

linux - 2001.07.02.04 [kinda moot, since my wm makes dialogs resizeable anyhow]
mac - 2001.07.02.03
winnt - 2001.07.02.06

vrfy fixed. *sigh*

This is nice n'all, but pretty useless, since the prefs dialog doesn't remember
its size. So I can resize it once (I have to on Mac to make everything show),
but next time I open the dialog, it's too small again.
so should someone add persist="height width" ?
Bug 90375 filed on persisting the size.
