Unable to access local file system by typing in c:\ Win32 2001-06-25-11-0.9.2 build. I believe this is a fairly recent regression. I tend to use this feature every Monday for sending out status. 1. Start browser 2. In the URL field, type: c:\ (and press enter) 3. Nothing loads I used to be able to browse my directory structure locally by just typing into the URL field c:\, etc. Notes: a. file:///C:/ loads fine b. I went to 4.x and type c:\ in and chose a directory. The URL translated to: file:///c%7C/WINNT/ When I type this URL into 0.9.2 build, nothing loads. If I change the URL manually to file:///c://WINNT, the directory loads. Asa thinks that perhaps we're not dealing with escaped characters correctly.

Just a note: c:\ works from File>>Open Web Location

I am sure that there is a dup somewhere... This will not make the 0.9.2 train unless someone has a tested patch which is reviewed by someone that I can sr.
