It would be helfull to provide developers with a list of wanted application to develop, as an hint to help them picking a project or something to work on.

This list could be generated based on a static list of thing or based on user wishes (with a vote or suggestion system)

Note that we have something _vaguely_ like this here:

But this only has a few contributors, so it's definitely not up-to-date.

This wouldn't be in the Marketplace, but perhaps on the Mozilla Wiki? This way it could be edited by the community as well.
