*Procedure
1. Open sms
2. Insert a phone number
3. Select an gif animated(the file used in the test is attached in this bug)

*Expected Result 1
 The preview shows the image animation. (Iphone shows the animation in the preview)

*Actual Result 1
If the user attaches an animated gif, the preview does not show the image animation

4. Press send button

*Expected Result 2
the preview shows the animation of the image on the device who receives the mms. (Iphone shows the animation in the preview)

*Actual Result 2
If the user receives an animated gif, the preview does not show the image animation

As long as the image, when viewed, does animate we're ok with not blocking on the preview's animation capabilities for v1.1.

hi borja the behavior in comment #1 is fine by me:

...If we can get the image to animate in the thread itself without any detriment to the performance of the phone itself or unnecessary developer overhead, then then great. But comment #0 is enough

...Typo! ...i mean comment #1 is enough.
I agree with comment 1, I don't think is vital to show the animation in the preview.

I'm going to wontfix this then - feel free to reopen if you feel we must find a solution to this later
