Steps to reproduce:

Expected result: Volume can be adjusted using the volume slider

Controls work fine on other web sites, this appears to be an issue specific to the youtube player. Maybe even be a bug in their code.

WFM www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkGeOWYOFoA on the Surface Pro 2 using Fx 29 (12-20) build.

However uncovered another similar bug where I can't slide the video position - it just jumps back to the beginning (I'll file a separate bug). But the volume does, indeed, work.
I can reproduce the original issue from comment #0. It seems like it's only happening when the volume "cursor" is at the highest volume (all the way at the end of the volume bar). When this happens, it makes it impossible to select and slide the cursor.

However, if you tap somewhere in the middle of the volume bar to move the cursor in the middle, from there you can select the cursor and move it around without any issues.

Looks like this issue only occurs when the volume cursor is all the way at the end (highest volume)

Steps to reproduce the issue: (ensure that you have HTML5 video enabled in your YouTube preferences)

1) Open Firefox Metro
2) Go to youtube.com and select a video (should load a video if its compatible with HTML5 Video and a "Flash is required" message if it's not)
3) Once the video starts playing, tap on the volume and attempt to slide the volume cursor (should be at the highest volume position)
4) Tap somewhere in the middle of the volume bar and start sliding the volume cursor from there

You'll notice that in Step #3 you won't be able to move the cursor but in Step #4 you should be able to move it without any issues.

Used a Lenovo X1 Carbon Thinkpad with the following build:
