The add-on compatibility check ui is shown on startup after an update. It should be possible to store compatibility update info from the add-on compatibility check requested by app update and to stage updates to add-ons as well to bypass showing this UI and thereby improve startup speed after an update and the user experience.

The telemetry added in bug 760356 will give us a good picture of how often there is an incompatible existing add-on that can be upgraded at the same time the browser version changes; it might be worth waiting at least until that rolls to Beta to see how much improvement we could possibly get from implementing this.
