Neo proposed to have this configuration in Settings app. So, it looks like this is something in Lucas or Tim's team.

We've already have enable/disable UI in the settings app. However, it seems like our APN database only contains a few information of CDMA operators. Antonio, do you have any idea on retrieving the information?

One of the sources of our apn.json database is the database of carriers that AOSP has and basically that database brings APN settings. We use another one in which we include the list of CB channels for the subscriber's carrier. Please see [1] where you can see how we add the list of CB channels for ViVo Brazil. The operator_variant.xml database is also a source of our apn.json database. If my reply doesn't respond your question please let me know. Because the database lacks most major CDMA carriers (ex Sprint in the US), so I was just wondering if there exists other sources for them.

(In reply to Arthur Chen [:arthurcc] from comment #9) > Because the database lacks most major CDMA carriers (ex Sprint in the US), > so I was just wondering if there exists other sources for them. After a bit of googling It seems there are some apn databases around for CDMA phones. Well they add the APN settings for CDMA phones to the main database. The CM project seems to maintain one of them (see [1]) and it seems the OEM could add a database with APN settings for CDMA phones in the release (see [2]). If we need to add something similar, please file a bug and add me to CC list. We can add corresponding APN settings once we know where the phones are going to ship. The settings may come from OEMs or carriers. I'll add the settings of the CDMA carrier in Taiwan for QA testing.

No gaia UI changes needed for the feature. File bug 904984 for adding the settings of the CDMA carriers.
