Steps to reproduce:

1. Signed into Phonebook as a non vouched user.
2. Clicked on "Edit Your Profile" from the drop down.
3. Under the Location field, selected Country as India, typed New York in the State/Province box and Bangalore in the City box and updated the changes.


Actual results:

 There seemed to be no validation for state and city based on the country selected.


Expected results:

Validating States and Cities based on the Country selected may result in accurate user locations. This in turn will help community organizers to find Mozillians of particular skill in the same location as themselves and effectively organize them for projects.

We introduced geolocation support in phonebook thus country, region, city are calculated based on your lat and lon from data coming from OSM.

One cannot randomly select country, region, city anymore so I'm marking this one WFM.

Sandeep.b .. thank you again for your insights. 1 year later and in lovely ways this has been fixed with the new OpenStreetMap integration in /user/edit/
