My blog used to appear on planet.mozilla.org, and according to http://planet.mozilla.org/opml.xml it is still there:

<outline type="rss" text="Kent James" title="MesQuilla » Planet Mozilla" xmlUrl="http://mesquilla.com/category/mozilla/feed/"/>

But I am not seeing any hits to the address listed, and my last blog did not actually appear on Planet.

The blog was inactive for awhile. Is there something that I need to do to reactivate it?
We're seeing:
 ERROR:planet.runner:Error 403 while updating feed http://mesquilla.com/category/mozilla/feed/
Are you blocking Planet somehow?

Not that I am aware of. The blog posts from Planet Mozilla Messaging http://planet.mozilla.org/thunderbird/, which use the same infrastructure (a wordpress site that uses categories to denote posts that to each feed) seems to work just fine.

The hosting service for my blog has now confirmed that they are generating 403 errors, and are trying to understand why. So maybe this is an issue on my side. I'll revise the bug status if I get more information.
Here is the response from the organization that is hosting the site:

"Hello Kent,

Thanks for your patience and my apologies for the wait! We do maintain a list of blocked user agents, due to malicious requests that are tied to them. The user agent tied to their process is being blocked, as it matches one of the strings that we check for. If the team over at Planet Mozilla is able to change the user agent for their feed aggregator to something closer to that of a normal web browser, that would allow them to see the content at your site.

Let me know if there's any other assistance that I can provide!

I sent them a reply that I don't think their request is reasonable.
I did not receive an offer from wp-engine to quit blocking the user agent string used by Mozilla Planet, nor did I get any offer from Mozilla to change the user agent string. As a very minor player stuck between two elephants, the only choice I seemed to have was to change hosting for my blog, which I have now done.
