User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130107124423

Steps to reproduce:

Received emails with .txt files attached. Clicked on the "Save" button at the bottom of the email window to save the attachment. The "Save As" window opens up, but becomes unresponsive.

Actual results:

Clicked to close the unresponsive Save As window, which caused Thunderbird to force quit. Re-launched Thunderbird, opened email again, clicked and dragged file icon of attachment from email to destination folder in Windows Explorer. That worked.

Expected results:

Clicking "Save" should have opened a "Save As" window that doesn't freeze and become unresponsive. Should have allowed me to save locally.

John, have you seen this again since reporting?
Is the destination drive on the network? Or local drive?
