User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130803215302 Steps to reproduce: I started downloading many series from youtube, 9 or more at a time with the highest quality 1080p mp4 version using Youtube Video and Audio Downloader addon. I experienced this before, I am not sure if it is an addon bug. I downloaded all of these: https://www.youtube.com/show/goodcops/videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqHBmNV6vpU&list=PLrFaRFw9s4G7SOH9vZqwNxTnPtTNkHEqp&feature=player_embedded Actual results: When all my downloads finished my 50mbps internet connection was still saturated by firefox with no end ever until closing the browser. Expected results: There should be no bandwidth usage

@Mark Banner: Can you please explain the reasons for making this bug as a duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=576039 ? I see no relevant similarities between the two bugs.

Right, this seems a different issue. We made so many changes to our networking, add-ons, and downloads code between Firefox 27 and Firefox 60 that it's quite possible this problem has been resolved by now. If not, it's probably better to file a separate, more detailed report.
