In order to have a consistent system wide transition the modal dialogs (like the one displayed when you want to remove an app) should live inside their own html pages. Then when we need to call it, it can be done with a simple call to window.open or similar and the system app can get it and open a new window with the modal dialog content with the right transition.
Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
