In bug 860892 we began to crash rather than gracefully shutdown when the IPDL tree gets torn down due to abnormal shutdown. This is not the right thing to do - we should be able to handle it, but we just crash later so this is kind of right on b2g. However, we want to try to track down these bugs so we want to not do this elsewhere.
