User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.66 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Hit Ctrl-R to reply to a message and begin typing. Actual results: Initially, a new Xmonad window/tile is created with a Thunderbird Compose window correctly addressed to the recipient. The tile is highlighted (as I can discern by the presence of a border) however the focus is not actually in the Reply/compose window: it "secretly" remains on the main window. Typing "a" for example causes the currently-focused message to be archived. Clicking on the Compose window doesn't always rectify this, but doing a second Reply does: I can re-focus the previous Reply window and successfully enter text into the text boxes. Expected results: Of course, focus should be on the newly-created window. Previous versions of Thunderbird were fine, so I think this is a Thunderbird issue; honestly however I am not certain, and it is conceivable that it is an Xmonad issue (in which case I apologize). This would surprise me however as I've only ever experienced this issue with this new version of Thunderbird (as I upgraded fairly recently). I run Xmonad version 0.10 and Thunderbird 24 under 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04. Thank you in advance for any insight or fix you may be able to provide.
