User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130910160258

Steps to reproduce:

I generally have "Accept third party cookies" set to "Never". I switch a lot between "accept cookies from sites" to keep control, I usually have that off and only accept cookies from sites I want to with a positive exception list.
When I tick off "accept cookies from sites", the setting stays "Never" and is greyed out, like excpected. Back to enabling, when I enable "accept cookies from sites", "Accept third party cookies" gets reset to "Always". I have to -again- switch the setting to "Never". Other settings, like "keep until:" are untouched.

Actual results:

A cookie setting gets reset needlessly on change of a different cookie setting.

Expected results:

My last selection of "Accept third party cookies" should be remembered and stay unchanged, until I decide to change it.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0
On latest Aurora (20131014004003) after enabling "Accept cookies from sites", the "Accept third-party cookies" option is always set to "From visited" on my machine, no matter what was previously selected.

The difference in behaviour might stem from my Firefox being a german one, and there might be a different default or position in the list..
