Details

- IARC is going to move forward with implementing an API callback system.
 Christine is going to get in touch with Wil to clarify the request/response
 format. Once that is complete should take 1-2 weeks to implement.

- Mozilla will include an "enter rating manually" option on the page which
 will prompt the user for the code and ID if they've previously had a rating.
 CSV support and upload will be omitted entirely.

- IARC is going to investigate modifying API responses to include all
 rating_systems instead of one per call. Does not block our
 implementation.

====================
Would it be possible to have a callback from the rating tool? You had a concern about ensuring the email address is real. One thing that Mozilla provides, and that Marketplace uses, is the Personal identity system (https://login.persona.org/about). We know that the email account that we have on-file is authentic as it goes through a verification process.

IARC Response – Due to privacy concerns, I don’t think that we ever received confirmation that Mozilla was willing to pass through the Email address. Also, I just want to make sure that we understand your request –

a. Are you asking for us to callback with the Submissions ID and Security Code, or are you asking for us to callback with the ratings and content descriptors?
b. Are you asking for us to callback a web service, or are you asking for us to callback with data that populates certain fields on the Mozilla developer portal “rating” web page?

====================
Do you have any updates on pinging a service on our Marketplace in place of (or in addition to) the email to the developer? Your spec says:

Our experience with digital rating services has shown that
allowing/requiring a developer to manually re-enter a game/app title,
company name and Email address greatly increases data inconsistencies.

The same argument applies when you ask developers to copy and paste a number from an email into our site.
