Firefox has entered into a partnership with Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. The Triple Crown of surfing includes the three final surfing events that award a World Championship (Vans World Cup; Reef Hawaiian Pro, Billabong Pipe Masters). The events are streamed live on the Web with commentary in multiple languages. Firefox is looking to roll out this partnership as part of the Firefox OS launch in Brazil (and possibly Mexico). Brazil is number two in terms of views on the Vans Triple Crown live Web stream. In 2012 nearly 1MM visitors from Brazil visited the Triple Crown webcast. The Triple Crown runs Nov. 12 - Dec. 20, 2013.

The current page in the Marketplace will need to be updated with graphics  and more screenshots and the copy will need to be edited. This will be the landing page from all Firefox OS/app marketing assets.

Hey Matej - I was added as an owner to the app page today in the Marketplace, which is really great because it means I can edit that page directly. I am hoping you can help write the copy and make the four areas we want to hit (below) flow nicely and make it really succinct. Please LMK questions, etc.

For copy, this is what we were thinking for flow/main points: 

1. Tagline 
2. "Proud sponsor" - (ie. "Firefox is a proud sponsor the 2013 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and this app will help bring your passion for surfing right to your device, etc)
3. Event info ("The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing is the world's premier series of professional surfing events that runs from November 12 through December 20 in the famous winter waves of Oahu's North Shore, Hawaii.")
4. App features/CTA ("With the VTCS app exclusively in the Firefox Marketplace, you can get up to the minute heat times and the latest standings, plus watch all the action live in the app")

I think this is right on the money. Going to go over w/ Kristin this afternoon. In the meantime, I have two additions. 

The app is also going to be available on Android devices and Desktop. Could we add that in? 

Could we also add that the app is available in EN only but the live stream is available in PT, JA, ES, and EN?

From solely a user engagement standpoint, now that we know that people can watch on Android and Desktop, it would be great to include that in the copy.

The language info feels more like legal text, so I added it below the main body. It just didn't fit otherwise. I also added the platforms, but it feels like that copy is more important in other media to drive you here. By the time you get to the Marketplace, you should have a pretty good idea of where the app will work.

Content: Phone w/ surfing picture on it. A "play" button over the pic to give an idea of what it will look like when you go to the live stream page of the app.
