In Tom's Hardware Guide's June 2013 Grand Prix, Firefox 21 narrowly beat Chrome 27 in Principled Technologies's WebXPRT 2013 benchmark:

WebXPRT runs four types of tests: Photo Effects, Face Detection, Stocks Dashboard, and Offline Notes.
