Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010802
BuildID: 2001080214

When typing in URL in address bar browser locks up and unable to use Finder
until I Force Quit (Opt+Command+Esc) out of Mozilla. This occurs everytime I
select address text and begin typing QUICKLY without deleting selected address
text first. Also occurs frequently when deleting text first. Seems that when I
type slowly it doesn't occur as often.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select address text to be deleted
2.Begin typing
3.

Actual Results: Browser locks up

Expected Results: Should allow for manual insertion of URL

400MHz iMac, OS 9.1, 1GB of CAS3 memory.
Also occured under release 0.9.2 but not before then if I am not mistaken.
Reporter, this works fine for me running Mac Mozilla 0.9.3 (2001080214). Try
reproducing with a new Mozilla profile. If you still can, then delete the Mozilla Registry
and Mozilla Versions files in your Preferences folder (while Mozilla is not running,
naturally). If you still can, then try reproducing with only the "Mac OS 9.1 All" extension
set enabled.
