Details

At the moment the app permissions are set by the developer. A user is requesting an option to turn off network access or an offline mode for reader applications. Currently the work around is to turn off wifi.

original issue: "Is there a way to restict the network access of an application? In other words, is there a way to guarantee that an application will only operate in offline mode"

example senario: 
" For example, I don't think something like an epub reader should have network access and I want to insure it does not communicate to an external server"
