Details
At the moment the app permissions are set by the developer. A user is requesting an option to turn off network access or an offline mode for reader applications. Currently the work around is to turn off wifi.

In other words, is there a way to guarantee that an application will only operate in offline mode" example senario: " For example, I don't think something like an epub reader should have network access and I want to insure it does not communicate to an external server"
