Switch to full screen. I get the top left quarter only.

10.8, no non-default graphics related preferences.
Start playing embedded, wait for the commercial to finish, switch to full screen when the actual video starts.
It flashes full screen, then it settles on the top quarter.
It works fine full screen if I go to the "see this on YouTube". If you now return to heavy.com (that was paused), it will work properly in full screen as well.
I *think* this is either a flash player bug, or a bug in the flash application this website is using.

When we're in fullscreen and the video is cliiped, the controls are still visible outside of the clipped area. This suggests that we're drawing everything that flash is giving us, and the missing video exists in the frames that flash is producing.
Makes sense. Should we change the product to TechEvangelism?
I think so, yeah.

I can't reproduce in Nightly w/ Flash 11.9.900.152 running on OSX 10.9.

Milan, can you check again?
Yes, it still fails for me with 11.8.800.168 and 11.9.900.170 on nightly, under OSX 10.8.5
OK, strange. Not sure that this is TE or just some Flash/plugin bug. (I'm not even sure what we would say to this website). It would be strange that heavy.com has coded their site in a way that their video player is broken in 10.8 but not 10.9.

Anyone else able to reproduce?
I'm able to reproduce the problem with Nightly / Flash 11.9.900.170, under OS X 10.9.

However it works fine on the same flash player's demo site (http://www.jwplayer.com/wizard/).

Another test case on PBS:

Same video player, older version.

Thanks!

OK, all those WFM in fullscreen... but it turns out they all work when fullscreen'd on my external monitor. When I go to fullscreen from my MBP screen I can reproduce the bug. O_o
I wonder if 903296 recently regressed?
Per comment 2, this really sounds like a Flash issue or at least combination of Flash & Firefox behavior.

Can someone who can reproduce check if this actually regressed recently?
If this is suspected to be related to bug 903296, does turning hardware acceleration off affect this at all?

I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
