Further details see files in attachment. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Run one of the *.html-files in the attachment which implement plugin 1.3.1 Actual Results: Applet not loaded. Bug appears on Win98/2, too, with same Mozilla build. You can work around it by starting new thread only when applet is loaded. On Linux kernel 2.4.4GBi686 (SuSE 7.2) Mozilla build 2001080104 and Netscape 6/6.0 (Mozilla/5.0 Gecko/20001107) don't have such problems with threads, using jdk1.3.1 plugin.
Reporter, please email the testcase to me. I'll reopen if I can reproduce with your testcase.
