It would be great if Marketplace can provide a dashboard on API usage 
For example

1). Number of hosted apps Vs Packaged apps

2). For packaged apps
2.a) Number of packaged vs privileged packaged apps

3). API usage 
3.a) Sorted by frequency of use - number of apps using a particular API
example
Geolocation - 100 Apps
Contacts -     50 apps
camera  -     25 apps

=> this will help us determine what APIs are being used by developers

3.b) Sorted by popularity of apps - API usage by popular apps (based on download count)

=> This will help us determine the APIs most encountered by our end consumers.

We do have this currently, just not in dashboard format:

(Only available to admins at the moment)

We aren't currently tracking privileged apps. Since privileged apps are a subset of packaged apps I'd be curious of the best way to track these and have charts that make sense.

This is what bug 936461 is about I believe.

Not sure if bug 936461 talks about that but it's a cool idea that should be considered when implemented.

This is worldwide region, rather than all apps.
