Steps to reproduce:

Operation system: gentoo linux

In the day or week view of TB calendar addon lightning there is a red time line which should show the current time. Since thunderbird-24.1.1 it runs about 15 minutes too slow.

On German gentoo forum this is confirmed.

Component: Untriaged → General
Product: Thunderbird → Calendar
Version: 24 → unspecified
By default the red line (time indicator) changes his position every 15 minutes, exactly at 00', 15', 30' and 45' of an hour, so if you watch the line at an hour such as 10:29 you will see it in the position corresponding to 10:15, instead, at 10:30, it will be in the right position. Does it work in this way on your system?

If 15 minutes is a time interval too long for your needs, you can change it by editing the preference calendar.view.timeIndicatorInterval with the Config Editor. You can eliminate the time indicator by setting a value equal to 0 in the preference.
That solves the problem. Thank you!

I think this option should be documented or have an dialog in the normal calendar preferences.
