*** Original post on bio 165 as attmnt 134 by connor.behan AT gmail.com at 2009-02-19 22:06:00 UTC *** The -lpurple flag is all that gets used. -L/usr/lib and -L/$(DIST)/lib are both given so it is very possible that /usr/lib ends up taking priority when it shouldn't. To fix this I had to explicitly give the path to libpurple.so.

*** Original post on bio 165 at 2009-02-19 22:17:17 UTC *** Not sure -L$(DIST)/lib is still needed for anything on the line you edited. I'll try to remove it before checking in the fix.
