*** Original post on bio 568 at 2010-10-29 16:11:00 UTC *** Couldn't find any bug about not having audio/video support so I figured I'd file one. There is a Mozilla Labs experiment for audio/video API in JavaScript: http://mozillalabs.com/rainbow (http://github.com/mozilla/rainbow/) If nothing else this can serve as a good place to gather information (possibly also about libpurple's implementation).

I think it uses Jingle[2] to support audio/video under win, mac and linux.
