The message style preview seems to use the local users buddy icon for one contact and none for the other. Maybe we could include include some so that the preview of message styles that show buddy icons looks more natural?

I have no idea how feasible this is.

The screenshot shows the preview, the first icon is the one which I have set for myself in IB.

Closing bugs related to the Instantbird UI as WONTFIX, as the development of the standalone chat client Instantbird has stopped. Instantbird users are encouraged to migrate to Thunderbird.
