A speed centric landing page is needed to help this landing page. We already have this one, but it's a bit out of date.

Please:
1. Make the dial work like on http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/speed/

2. Add in three words. Change "(Isso é muito!)" to "(Mais rápido que o Chrome!)" [Optional]

Timing: We're holding off launching the speed related ads until this is done. ASAP would be great, even if it's just getting the spinner to work.

Hi Laura.

1) The is broken on the old php web pages, it works on the bedrock version. L10N just needs to localize the page.

2) The text changes you mention can be part of the L10N process itself and it wouldn't have to touch the base template in bedrock.

We would however, like to try to do this:

ported the strings to a speed.lang file used by bedrock in r123748
PR coming as a redirect and a template change is needed.

I noticed that the logo in the speedometer is still the old Firefox logo, in case it matters.
Also, if this page is meant to stay, then maybe we should also port the other locales and delete the older version on svn?

Looks great! When do you think it will go live so we can go live with the snippet?

As for the old logo, we can replace when there is time and do a rolling change. I can alert the logo police.

I am checking to see if we are pushing mozilla.org today. We push almost daily now.

As for the logo on the page, good catch, but this page is supposed to be deprecated soon. These legacy product pages were not translated because the upcoming Firefox Family website (that keeps getting delayed) was going to remove the need for these pages. This is why Pascal never translated it and why someone probably missed the logo in the dial. I wouldn't get too attached to this page as future campaigns should be pointing to content within the upcoming Firefox Family pages.
