Details

None of The Register pages work properly for this.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a register article
2. Drag mouse over text on one line in the article
3. Right-click to paste in to XChat (version here: 1.8.1)

Actual Result:
1. No selection occurs
2. No text is pasted

Expected Result:
1. Mozilla should have highlighted my mouse selection on the fly
2. Selected text should have been pasted in to XChat.

Additional Information:
1. Click in the text, then hold down shift and use the arrow keys does produce
a selection that you can then use Edit->Copy to copy. However, this copy does
not get pasted in to XChat
2. Selecting text in more than one line of text does work. I.e. > 1 line doed
fire the selection up, 1 line on it's own doesn't.

This bug has been present for months. I'm using daily builds of Mozilla with
latest stable Glib/GTK/GNOME.

Other selection events of one line of text works on other sites fine. It's just
The Register that causes problems. Perhaps a font issue, since they seem to use
something slightly unusual on their pages.
Nominating for Mozilla1.0. The site in question is quite popular in Europe, and
not being able to copy text from the browser is pretty basic functionality,
although this instance is still an edge case bug.
Keywords: mozilla1.0
Duplicate of "cannot select anything smaller than lines in justified text"

(the page uses align="justify" on the main table cell)
