Firefox 26 on Win 7.

1. I create a new tab.
2. I type the letters "total". The suggestions appear.
3. I press the Down arrow. Firefox selects the first entry "www.gallimard.fr/Catalogue/GALLIMARD/Art-et-Artistes/L-OEuvre-d-art-totale/".
4. I press again the Down arrow. Firefox selects the second entry "www.gallimard.fr/Catalogue/GALLIMARD/Art-et-Artistes/L-OEuvre-d-art-totale".
5. I press Ctrl Backspace.

* Expected behaviour : *

5a. The text "totale" gets deleted.

* Actual behaviour : *

5b1. Firefox takes the first entry now. I have the slash at the end now.
5b2. And the text "totale/" gets selected instead of being deleted. This is the bug 960522.

Thank you for correcting all of this.

I'm not able to have the 2 entries (with and without /) in the history list of the location bar to reproduce the issue, only the URL with / at the end is displayed.

Can you test again with FF31, please.

In Firefox 31, with a clean profile, on Win 7 :

a) I delete the History.
b) I go to the address : www.gallimard.fr/Catalogue/GALLIMARD/Art-et-Artistes/L-OEuvre-d-art-totale
c) I go to the address : www.gallimard.fr/Catalogue/GALLIMARD/Art-et-Artistes/L-OEuvre-d-art-totale/
d) I go to : www.perdu.com
e) I do the steps of the description : --> comment 0.

 --> I reproduce the bug.
