Almost anything on the device requiring touch requires one or two taps to get a response.

STR:
1. Open a contact
2. Tap the text message area to invoke SMS UI

Expected: One tap should fire a response and invoke SMS UI
Actual: It takes 2, sometimes 3 taps to invoke the UI.

This touch unresponsiveness seems to work for other actions as well, although not across the board.   For example, starring a collection on e.me homescreen tends to take 2-3 taps as well.

Does this issue only happen on one particular handset? or it is a common issues among all the Soul devices you have? We want to clarify first that if this is a HW relevant issue or not

Hi Jack -

in fact, the Soul devices are probably came with the newest software, or do you have newer Sora build for us to flash?

I'm seeing the issues on both of my devices.  One is running the original Sora devices, another an updated gecko/gaia with the original RIL.  Please NI me and I'll check again when we get a new base image.

Hi, this is working better on the most recent build but not perfectly.  For example, I must still tap 2-3 times to star a collection.

Sorry for the delay.

STR:

1. Connect over WIFI or data connection.

1. Tap the rocketbar and search for some string, for example "food".
2. Tap the word "food" as it appears in the suggestions below the box.
3. Note the star to the right of "Everything food".  Try to select the star.

NOTE:  You must tap at least twice (sometimes more time to get the star selected.
