"Unread" and "Read" tabs do not display the correct messages when clicked

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load Communication Dashboard page https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/comm/
2. Click the "Unread", "Read" tab for a thread with read/unread messages.

Expected results:
All the unread messages are displayed in the "Unread" tab and read messages are displayed in the "Read" tab.

Actual results:
Both read and unread messages are displayed in both tabs.

Notes/Issues:
Verified on FF30 (Win 7).
